Pandexio Privacy Policy

Pandexio, Inc. understands that you care about how Pandexio and its Smartsnips products and services (“Pandexio”) use and share your (a company, a partner, a user) information. Your privacy is critically important to us, and as a result we have a few fundamental principles regarding the data we collect:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our system, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store personal information unless required for the on-going operation of our services.

Below is our privacy policy which incorporates these goals. Unless otherwise protected by law, By visiting any Pandexio websites, using any of its services, or clicking "I Accept", you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and corresponding Terms of Service.

Information We Collect

Personal Data

Whether using Pandexio in the context of your company or as an individual, Pandexio collects personally-identifying information, including your full name, email address, profile picture and optionally your company name. This information is collected from the third-party identity provider used to login to Pandexio.

You may use a company-specific (custom) identity provider, Google, Microsoft, or something else. By logging using a Pandexio identity provider, you authorize Pandexio to store any data it provides, which may include other information like age, gender, etc.

Pandexio also collects information relevant for billing, including your address, credit card, bank information required to bill your account.

Usage Details

Pandexio captures other contextual information, including Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, geographic locations, the browser and device type, language preference, referring site, the date and time of each request.

Pandexio also collects usage data and statistics about each visit, the services and functions uses, features accessed.

How We Use Your Information

Pandexio only uses your information to operate its products and services, to improve Pandexio, to respond to your inquiries or support you, or for any other reason to which you consent. In each case, Pandexio collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor or users interaction with Pandexio. Pandexio does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described.

Onward Transfers to Third-Party Agents

Pandexio may transfer your information to trusted third parties to provide you with the best service. Only the data required for a third party to complete its service will be transferred. All third party processors have been vetted and determined to have implemented robust privacy protocols and operate in accordance with this Privacy Policy acting as agents of Pandexio.

Pandexio uses trusted third-parties to provide the following services:

  • Identity management
  • Authentication and authorization
  • Content conversion
  • Event notifications
  • Support requests

  • Usage analytics

In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU or Swiss individuals received pursuant to the EU-US Privacy Shield. Pandexio is potentially liable.

Tracking Technologies

Pandexio uses tracking technologies to provide users with the best service possible. Some tracking technologies include local storage in the web browser, contextual links containing user-specific parameters, and cookies. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Pandexio uses cookies to help Pandexio identify and track visitors, their usage of Pandexio, and their access preferences. Pandexio visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Pandexio, with the drawback that certain features of Pandexio may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Business Transfers

If Pandexio, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Pandexio goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Pandexio may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Public Authorities

Pandexio may disclose your personal information to public authorities in response to lawful requests, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

Marketing Campaigns

Pandexio may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Pandexio and our products. We primarily use our blog to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. Pandexio provides an unsubscribe link in these types of email communications, which enables the user to opt-out. Note that even after opting out, you still may receive emails from Pandexio, e.g., product-related emails, notification of privacy policy changes, etc.

Protection of Your Information

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. Pandexio takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information. Pandexio uses only only highly-trusted service providers, employs data storage and cryptography techniques, and enforces industry-leading security practices and procedures to keep your data safe, preventing against data loss, unauthorized access, misuse, corruption and make ensure its availability to you when you need it. Remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage or use, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Access to Your Personal Information

Pandexio acknowledges that EU and Swiss individuals have the right to access the personal information that we maintain about them. An EU or Swiss individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should direct their query to privacy@pandexio.com. If you requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Retention of Your Personal Information

Pandexio will retain your data for as long as it serves the purpose for which it was originally captured unless otherwise authorized, and may retain it afterwards for purposes of data archival at which point in time your personal information will be removed from Pandexio.

Your Choice

To opt out of marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link within the email or contact privacy@pandexio.com. If you no longer want to use Pandexio or its agents for processing your data, please submit a request to privacy@pandexio.com to which point in time Pandexio will purge your personal data and close your account.

Our Site may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on an external link, you will be directed to that party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. Pandexio, Inc. has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any external sites or services.

Children

Pandexio is not designed for children under the age of 16 and does not knowingly collect information from child users. It is the responsibility of each company to only authorize age-appropriate users access to its Pandexio data. Parents are urged to prevent underage individual users from accessing Pandexio. Please contact Pandexio at privacy@pandexio.com if you suspect an underage user and we will purge associated personal data as appropriate.
